Why I Love Christmas? >> http://www.facebook.com/note.php?created&¬e_id=10150107999510701&id=67936175235
Why I Love Christmas?
I love Christmas.
I love the Christmas meals.
Not just the food, mind you.
Like a few minutes ago, I just came from my Mom’s house for our Christmas lunch.
My sisters, their husbands, and most of the kids were there—and we ate and talked the whole time.
We had a seven-hour lunch!
As most of us were trying to be healthy, we didn’t have traditional Christmas dishes like Lechon, Crispy Pata, and Ham. Instead, we had green leafy salad with yogurt, fish fillet, and vegetarian pasta.
Impressed? Don’t be. Being the Sanchez household (where everyone is sweet), we still had Leche Flan, Apple pie, and two gallons of ice cream. Haha!
Yes, our food was fantastic. But our Christmas meal wasn’t about the food.
It was about being together.
It was about love, family, relationships, and all that good stuff.
After our lunch and before desert, we snuck into the prayer room, sat on the floor, and sang a few songs together.
For years, I used to play the guitar for our family Christmas worship.
But this year, my son Bene did us the favor of strumming the guitar. And his cousin, Joseph, played a few more Christmas songs for us. I have officially retired as the main music ministry of the family.
And around me were my young nieces and nephews—all serving God and all enjoying a deep relationship with God. The feeling was unbelievable.
Oh, to see the next generation take on the baton and serve the Lord. What else should I seek for?
Before the altar, each of us took turns thanking God for His blessings for 2010.
We then prayed for new blessings for 2011.
It was awesome.

Don’t Be Too Hard On Yourself!
One day, a very discouraged man visited Norman Vincent Peale. He told the good Reverend he had nothing to live for.
“Everything is gone, everything is hopeless. I’ve lost the heart for living.”
Norman Vincent Peale got a piece of paper, drew a vertical line in the middle, and said, “This is your life. Let’s write down a list of the things you’ve lost on the left side, and the things that you still have on the right side.”
The man shook his head, “You won’t need the right side. I have nothing left in my life.”
Norman Vincent Peale said, “When did your wife leave you?”
The man was shocked. “My wife didn’t leave me! She’s right here with me. My wife loves me!”
Norman said, “That’s fantastic! Let’s write that down as number one on the right side of the paper: ‘Wife with me’. Now tell me, “When did your kids go to prison…”
“Prison?” the man asked in “My kids are right here at home!”
“Fantastic! Let’s write it down here as number two: ‘Kids not in jail.’”
Norman continued asking similar questions, and the man got the point, and began to smile. He said, “I guess my life isn’t so bad after all!”
Perception Is Everything
Your perception of reality is your reality.
Your life has always two sides—a left side and a right side—the bad stuff happening and the good stuff happening.
A lot of people spend the whole day looking at the left side—the side where they list everything that’s wrong with their life. 24 hours a day, they think about it, meditate on it, analyze it, mull over it. That’s why they’re miserable.
Friend, make a decision to spend the whole day looking at the right side of your life.
I know. This is very difficult.
Especially when you fail.
There was a man who failed big time in the Bible…

God Will Never Abandon You
I date my mother every week.
And she loves telling me stories about her life.
So every week, I get a lesson in Philippine History.
Remember that my mother is 85 years old—and anything about her life is Philippine History.
When I was a little boy, I asked her, “Mom, did you see Jose Rizal?”
“Uh, that’s a little bit too early in Philippine History,” she said.
But last week, my Mom told me about the lowest point in her life…
The Bombs Were Falling From The Sky
“I got married during the Japanese war,” she said.
She was only 19 years old.
War was raging all around them. Japanese soldiers running around the city, looking for guerrillas. One million Filipinos will ultimately die because of that war.
Yet there they were, two lovebirds, getting married!
As if their problems weren’t enough, Mom’s mother was very sick. “I was an only child,” she said, “my father had died years ago. And Mama was totally bedridden, sick with tuberculosis…”
And six days after their wedding, bombs fell from the sky.
They heard the roar of American planes flying above, dropping their bombs all over Manila.
Everywhere they looked, homes and buildings were on fire.
Soon, their house caught fire as well.
“Bo, your father had to carry my mother in a wooden pushcart through the burning streets of Manila,” she said. “On the way, Japanese soldiers would block our road. We didn’t know where to go. But we kept running…”
All of a sudden, they saw a convent.
The gates were closed but they knocked anyway.
The nuns, seeing an old woman in a wooden “kariton”, welcomed them with open arms. “Those nuns were God’s answer to our prayer. God protected us there. If they didn’t accept us, I don’t know where we would have gone…”
They Had Nothing To Eat
One month after, my grandmother passed away.
So they brought out the pushcart again and pushed her to the cemetery.
And then my mother told me something I never knew before.
I’m 44 now and it’s the first time I heard this story!
Because it was wartime, they couldn’t find jobs. There came a point when they had nothing to eat anymore. Their cupboards were empty. Their wallets were empty.
Mom told me, “Everyday, your father and I would walk around the market, begging people to buy our tomatoes. We didn’t have a store or stall. We just walked with the tomatoes in our hands. It was the only way to put food on the table.”
Mom and Dad also foraged whatever little belongings they had left, and sold them all: plates, spoons, forks, anything that they owned which had value.

Are You Humble?
Today, I’d like to talk about the old-fashioned virtue of humility.
God’s big message for you today?
Stay empty.
Let me start with a story.
One day, a bus driver was driving a bunch of seniors—people in their 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. They called themselves Club 20. Because they got 20% discounts in restaurants and drugstores.
Soon, the little old lady in the front row tapped his shoulder and gave him a big bag of peanuts. And the driver ate them.
Ten minutes later, she handed him another big bag of peanuts. And munched all of them again.
Ten minutes later, the old lady gave him another bag of peanuts.
The driver said, “Thank you! They’re delicious. But I’ve had enough. I finished two big bags of peanuts.”
The old lady said, “Oh, I didn’t want you eat them, I just wanted you to throw them away for us.”
“Throw them away?” the driver asked, “Why don’t you eat them?”
“All of us don’t have teeth anymore.”
“So why do you buy them?” he asked.
She said, “Oh, we like the chocolate around them, and after sucking them, we throw away the peanuts.”
Removing The Confusion From Humility
Humility confuses a lot of people because it’s just like the chocolate covered peanut. We’ve mixed humility with other stuff that doesn’t belong to humility.
We need to remove the chocolate.
I remember a classmate who was a very shy person.
We called her Isabel the Invisible.
She was so shy and so quiet, we sometimes forgot she existed. The only reason we knew she was still alive was at the start of the class—when the teacher called her name during roll call. “Isabel” the teacher would say, and we’d see her raise her hand just slightly so. After that, she’d blend into the grey walls of the classroom and vanish.
And when we did see her, her hair covered half of her face, so we really didn’t know how she looked like.
But if you read our Yearbook, you’d see a description beneath her Photo: “Isabel is a very humble person.”
Why? People confuse humility with timidity.
But they’re worlds apart.
Timidity is matter of personality, or insecurity, or cowardice, or selfishness. But it isn’t humility.
In fact, you can be humble and confident at the same time.
Yes, you can be humble and aggressive at the same time!
How do I know?
The Bible calls Moses the most humble man on earth (See Numbers 12:1). And yet this “most humble” man challenged Pharaoh and told the guy, “Let my people go!” If that’s not aggressiveness, I don’t know what is!
So What Is Humility?
Humility is a multi-faceted jewel.
But all these facets point to one thing: Being empty.
I believe this emptiness has three distinct expressions…
o A Humble Person is a Seeker
o A Humble Person is a Student
o A Humble Person is a Servant
1. A Humble Person Is A Seeker
I love sharing this story.
One day, a young monk visited an older monk and asked, “Master, what is the secret of humility?”
The older monk said, “Let’s take a walk…”
The two men walked down to the river.
The older monk led the younger monk in the water. When the river reached their chests, without warning, the older monk held the head of the younger monk, and dunked him into the water!
The younger monk struggled, his arms splashing wildly, but the older monk held his head under the water.
When the younger man was almost blacking out, an inch away from death, the older monk pulled him up—and the young monk sucked in air like he was an industrial vacuum cleaner.
In between breaths, he asked in a frantic voice, “Why the heck did you do that for?”
The older man smiled and said, “The secret of humility is to seek for God the way you’re seeking for oxygen now.”
I repeat: Humility is being empty.
Humility is being desperate that God fill you up.

Should You Be Kind To Bad People?
One day, an American, a Russian, and a Filipino were talking.
The Russian said, “We were first in space!”
The American said, “We were first on the moon!”
The Filipino said, “So what? Haven’t you been reading the newspaper? Our economy is doing very well. Mark my words, the Philippines will be a First World country. And we will be the first one on the sun!”
The Russian and the American looked at each other and shook their heads. “You idiot, you can’t land on the sun!” the Russian said, “You’ll burn up!”
The Filipino said, “I’m not stupid, you know. We’ll go there at night!”
Friend, God is kind.
And the kindness of God is like the sun. It’s always there for you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Bible says His steadfast love is new every morning.
Perhaps you’re having problems right now.
And you don’t feel the kindness of God.
Your marriage isn’t doing well.
You’re under a mountain of debt.
Your kids are going astray.
Your body is sick.
When we have problems, we don’t feel the kindness of God.
But it doesn’t mean that God isn’t kind.
It just means it’s nighttime, but God’s kindness is still shining.
In another part of your world, it’s daytime!
Soon, your night will pass. Your trials will pass. Your burdens will pass. And you’ll see the first rays of the morning sun break through the darkness of your problems.
God Is Kind To The Wicked
The Bible says that God is kind to bad people (see Luke 6:35-36). We somehow know this already, but it still jars our sense of “justice”.
One day, some brilliant men were debating about what makes Christianity different from other religions. The discussion was heated and lively, with all sorts of answers being raised.
That was when the great thinker and apologist, C.S. Lewis, entered the room. The men turned their attention to the late comer and asked him, “So Lewis, what makes Christianity different from other religions?”
He looked at them and said one word.
“Mercy.”
When he spoke, everyone remained quiet.
The debate was over.
What is mercy?
Mercy is undeserved kindness.
We believe God is kind to those who do not deserve His kindness at all. In another part of the Bible, it says, When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy (Titus 3:4-6).
I’m sure you know the shocking story below…

Are You A Selfless Person?
One day, Benjie went to a horse race in San Lazaro.
Before the race began, something odd happened: He saw a priest walk up to one of the horses, laid his hand on its head and blessed it.
And sure thing, when the race begun, that horse pulled away and won the race.
Benjie was very impressed.
Before the next race, he saw the priest go to one horse again and blessed it. And that horse won the race too.
Benjie couldn’t believe his eyes!
Before the next race, he saw the priest walk up to another horse, put his hand on his forehead, and even touched all four hoofs.
Benjie knew what to do. He ran to the nearest ATM, withdrew all his money, borrowed more money from everyone he knew, and emptied his wallet. And he ran to the betting window and bet on that horse all he had.
But when the race began, that horse was the last to go out.
And in the middle of the race, it stopped on its tracks and dropped dead!
Benjie almost died with it.
He went to the priest and said, “Father, what happened? Why did that horse die? I saw you bless it!”
The priest shook his head. “That’s the problem with people like you who don’t know their religion. I didn’t bless him. I gave him the sacrament of the last rites.”
Are You Betting On The Right Horse?
Life is like a horserace.
And like Benjie, people are betting on the wrong horse.
Because in life, there’s a winning horse and a dying horse.
The dying horse is called collection.
Have you noticed? Human beings have a tendency to collect things. We surround ourselves with things, thinking that they will make us happy.
Oh yes, we love things.
But things will never love us.
Your cars will never love you back.
Your clothes will never love you back.
Your jewels will never love you back.
Like Benjie, we think that God is blessing the horse named collections. Actually, God is just givingcollections the last rites.
One of these days, collections will drop dead.
Your clothes will be eaten by moths.
Your house will be eaten by termites.
Your car will be eaten by rust.

So You Don’t Have Enough? That’s Good.
Let me ask you a question.
Do you feel like you lack stuff to succeed in life?
Like money?
Talents?
Time?
Connections?
Warning: This Bible story will blow you away.
How God Teaches You To Work
With What You Have
Once upon a time, Israel and Midia were at war.
Israel was a puny nation, barely surviving, and the Midianities were many times more powerful.
Israel was a puny nation, barely surviving, and the Midianities were many times more powerful.
That was when God raised a man named Gideon to fight for Israel. Soon, he formed an army of 32,000 soldiers.
Seems like good news, right?
But don’t be too impressed.
We’re using the term “soldiers” in a very loose way.
These 32,000 men were actually farmers, fishermen, and carpenters who happened to carry a long stick.
On the other side of the fence, the enemy called the Midianites had 135,000 soldiers—all trained and armed to the teeth.
Not a very fair battle if you ask me.
But God looked at the situation in a very different way.
God speaks to Gideon and says the most unbelievable thing.
God says, “The men you have are too many.”

Do You Save Or Invest? There’s A Big Difference!
*Do You Save Or Invest?*
*There’s A Big Difference! *
I’m writing this from Israel.
I met OFWs or Overseas Filipino Workers here.
I am taking a 10-day pilgrimage.
Their “pilgrimage” was much longer: 3 years, 5 years, 10 years,
20 years…
According to my Israeli friend, there are 70,000 Filipinos in Israel.
All of them separated from their families.
*Where Do You Put Your Savings?*
When I meet them, I like asking, “How much savings do you have?”
Their answers were all the same:
“Wala.”
“Not much.”
“Nothing.”
“Zero.”
“A little.”
“Kaunti lang…”
When they say they have savings, I ask them, “Where do you put
your savings?”
All of them (without exception) say the same thing: Bank.
So I ask them, “How much interest do you get from the bank?”
Most of them don’t know.
Some know.
Some say, “one percent a year”.
Oh, I felt so sad for them!
They’re trapped to work in a foreign country—separated from their kids—for many years. And when they come home, they have
nothing!
That’s when I remembered my house helpers.
My house helpers—earning a tiny fraction of what these OFW’s are
earning—are now building their investments. They will retire
millionaires.
I’m not kidding.
I wrote an eBook, /My Maid Invests In The Stock Market… And Why
You Should Too. /(It’ll soon be a printed book. Watch for this.) I
give this eBook to my /TrulyRichClub /members.
Because of the financial literacy I taught my helpers, they don’t
put their long-term savings in banks. They’re wiser. They now
invest their little savings each month in the Stock Market.
After one year of investing, one of my helpers has P65,000 and the
other has P63,000 invested in the Stock Market. That may be tiny for
you, but that is gigantic for them. They’ve never owned that much
money before.
In 20 years, if they remain faithful to the investing method I
taught them, they’ll have 5 million pesos. Not bad for domestic helpers working in Manila!
Friend, if you want to invest in the Stock Market, I’m inviting
you join my /TrulyRichClub/. In the Club, I’ll teach you the very
same method I taught my helpers. I’ll suggest an online broker for
you—so you can buy stocks via the internet. I’ll tell you the
companies you need to buy. I’ll tell you when to buy and when to
sell. I’ll even give you a “buy below” price, to lessen your
risk.
Warning: My /TrulyRichClub /isn’t /just/ about the Stock Market.
In the Club, I’ll teach you about a spiritual mindset that’s
very important to grow your wealth.
Friend, do you save or invest?
There’s a huge difference.
People who just save remain poor.
People who invest (in the right way) become rich.
Don’t waste your time.
If you don’t start now, when will you do it?
Stop delaying.

2 Ingredients For Creating Your Miracle
Today, God wants to tell you, “Child, I have given you the capacity to create your miracles. I merely supply the raw materials. But you manufacture the miracles that you need.”
Today, you will learn how to create your miracles.
Cockroaches In A Retreat Houses
Many years ago, when I was still young and handsome (now, I’m just irresistible), I gave a retreat to a bunch of female college students.
While preparing for my talks in my bedroom, a regular-sized cockroach flew in and buzzed around the ceiling. I didn’t know why I did this, but I found myself pointing my finger to it and commanded, “In Jesus name, come down and die!”
In a second, I saw the insect hit an invisible wall and it came crashing down on the hard floor, dead as a stone.
Suddenly, I felt powerful.
I lifted my pointer finger to my lips and blew the imaginary smoke.
A few minutes later, I was preaching to an enthusiastic crowd of young female college students.
Remember the cockroach I “killed” in my room?
Without warning, the grandfather of that bug came into the seminar room, seeking vengeance.
It was huge and menacing.
You can just imagine the dramatic effect this had on an all-women audience. They were busy ducking for shelter and hiding beneath desks, and my talk was quickly losing much of its appeal.

"I've accepted the fact that because I'm human, I'm terrific in one thing, good at some, mediocre at a bit more, and terrible at others. And if you're human, you are too. You'll have to discover the one thing that you are good at and major in it."

BO SANCHEZ LEADS KERYGMA CONFERENCE 2010
BO SANCHEZ, lay evangelist dubbed as Preacher in Blue Jeans, leads Kerygma Conference 2010, to be held at the Philippine Convention Center and Araneta Coliseum on November 26-28, 2010.
Known as the biggest Catholic learning event, Kerygma Conference started out in 2006 as rallies of readers of the inspirational magazine founded by Bro. Bo which he named Kerygma, the Greek word for proclamation of the Gospel.
Produced by Shepherd's Voice Radio and Television, Kerygma Conference is now on its fourth year. People from all walks of life attend the conference. This year's three-day conference includes two days of conferences for various groups. Capping the conference on the third day will be a Holy Mass, lively worship, and powerful talk by Bro Bo.
The last days of 2009 and the start of 2010 were difficult days as the country suffered the Ondoy and Pepeng deluge and the blows of the global economic crisis. Thus, Kerygma Conference 2010 centers on the theme Restoration – to recover not only material losses and rebuild damaged properties, but to restore faith and spiritual healing.

*Why You Don’t Get What You Want: You’re Conflicted*
Here’s my big message for you: When you send out a wish, you move God’s Universe to action.
What Do You Want?
Once upon a time, my firstborn son was a 3-month-old baby.
On one particular day I can never forget, at around 3 in the morning, this baby began to cry and he wouldn’t stop.
He was screaming his head off, “Waaaaaaa!”
Being first-time parents, we were horrified. We didn’t know what to do. We’ve never experienced this before.
We gave him milk. He still cried, “Waaaaaaa!”
We tried to make him burp. He still cried, “Waaaaaaa!”
We rubbed aceite de mansanilla on his tummy. He still cried, “Waaaaaaa!”
We sang him a lullaby. He still cried, “Waaaaaaa!”
We cradled him on our arms. He still cried, “Waaaaaaa!”
After thirty minutes of non-stop crying, I was totally desperate.
I remember kneeling in front of the crib, and asking, no, begging, imploring, “Baby, please… I don’t know what to do anymore. Please tell me what you want. Just tell me what you want. And I’ll give it to you!”
Do you know what my baby said?
“Waaaaaaa!”
The Universe On Its Knees
Why tell you this story?
To tell you that this is a perfect picture of what’s happening today: That the entire universe is bending over, on its knees, at your feet, asking, begging, imploring every human being, “What do you want? I’ll give it to you.”
And what do we say?
“Waaaaaaa!”
We don’t know what we want.
Sure, we have all sorts of wishes in our hearts.
But they’re fuzzy.
They’re all a blur.
They’re not clear.
Here’s what I realized: The universe doesn’t respond to fuzziness. The universe responds only to clarity.
Are you clear with what you want?

If you think you need a lot of money to invest in real estate, you are mistaken. Trace Trajano has taught countless of students how to invest in real estate even if you don’t have any money to start with. You don’t believe it? Trace’s secretary Jane only makes P4,433 per month ($100 per month). In exchange for this lower pay (which was half Jane’s previous salary as a call center agent)…Trace taught Jane how to invest in real estate. In just 3 weeks, Jane acquired her very first real estate deal. She did so by “investing” P2,000 and she was able to control P2.4 Million worth of real estate. Trace will interview his secretary Jane in an online seminar how she acquired her very first deal – step-by-step-by-step. "We are all wounded. But wounds are necessary for his healing light to enter into our beings. Without wounds and failure and frustrations and defeats, there will be no opening for his brilliance to tickle in and invade our lives. Failures in life are courses with very high tuition fees, so I don't cut classes and miss my lessons: on humility, on patience, on hope, on asking others for help, on listening to God, on trying again and again and again." — Bo Sanchez

Lord, I pray for the people who lost their lives in the hostage drama that just took place. I pray for their grieving families--for comfort and strength at this time of pain and loss. I pray for those who were wounded and are now in hospitals. I pray for God's blessing and wisdom upon the men in our police force. I pray for our country, in Jesus name. Life is so fragile. We hang onto it by a thread. At every single moment, live a life of love.

"Whenever you feel a negative emotion be alone in a room and just sit down with it and feel. Don't judge it, criticize it, intellectualize it, explain it away. Allow yourself to feel the pain. It's okay. Accompany it - breathe into it - and after a while, you'll feel the anger or fear or sadness lose it's urgency and power. Allow God to tenderly embrace you in your pain. And then, at the right time, you can let go." — Bo Sanchez (You Have The Power to Create Love)

Dear Bo,
Dear Bo,
Right now I am more drawn to God because I am going through a depression, which I have dealt with as privately as Icould. Here's my story:
I am someone who has a preference on western guys, and I dream of getting married with one someday. Because Idon't and never had a boyfriend, and because I already have a degree, the desire of getting married is consuming me. SoI tried an online dating site, not knowing how damaged emotionally i would come out of it.
I met a british guy, 35 y o,who represented himself as a decent, very sweet, loyal and a one-woman guy. 2 months of talking every single day, I wasdrawn to him. probably because I found our differences exciting, he claimed to be frugal, and someone who didn't like to party, somewhat reserved and conservative. I thought I needed a man like that. Then he decided to come here, but days before his arrival, I received a warning that he was just playing around and all over Asia. I went ahead and met him. Ofcourse doubts were surfacing in my head, but like any other girl, I did'nt know any better.
I spent 3 days with him, just exploring some good places, but I have already sensed that something was wrong. That he wasntMr. right as I so expected him to be. I sensed that although he did not maltreat me, he just didn't have respect for women ingeneral. While with him, I see him talking to other girls online, sometimes seeing a nude picture. I wanted to bolt out of the dooraway from him. But I let it be. When he left me, there was the usual promises, and I felt wounded. he never contacted me since.I didn't love him, but he hurt me more than I could let him. What hurt me the most was the pain of being left or abandoned.and all the while fully aware of the insincerity and infidelity.. and that made it more painful.
while with him and being intimate with him, I knew just what I was to him-- nothing.
I was nothing, just one of his exploits. Filipinas are being unfairly treated to be scammers or looking for money.I am not like that, all I hoped for was for love to be universal. In my innocence I do not know yet the feeling of loving and being loved back, and yet here i was learning that the world can be cruel.
For many nights that followed i would cry. I did not know what for, because as I said I did not love him. But i just did... I cried and cried and cried.
Crying was comforting.
And I prayed more frequently, sometimes desperately, telling God to fill this void and pain that has left a scar in my soul.
I know that i should hang on and be patient for the right love to come in my life. But i know I will be hearing your words of wisdom, and you never fail to deliver, Bo.
May God bless all of us
Keep me as,Anonymous"

Hi Friend,
God will heal the wound in your heart.
I'm so sorry for your pain. But I believe that you will come out stronger and wiser.Thank you so much for sharing your story.Thank you for your honesty.I pray other Filipinas will learn from it and avoid your pain.
I will also pray for God's best for you.More importantly, may you find in God your ultimate joy.
Blessings,
Bo

The Secret Of Becoming A Champion
Today, I’d like to teach you how to become a Champion.
I’d like to teach you how to get Big Returns in your life.
Now if you want small returns, skip this piece. It won’t interest you.
If you want to live a mediocre life, content with mediocre harvests, mediocre results, mediocre rewards, mediocre marriage, a mediocre job, mediocre relationships, mediocre happiness, I repeat: this stuff isn’t for you.
But if you want big returns, big miracles, big blessings, big healing, big happiness—then continue reading. This is for you! Look around you. The Secret of Big Returns is known by champions of the world. Why are they champions? Because they practice the secret.
How Many Sit-Ups Can You Make?
Why is Manny Pacquiao the best pound-for-pound boxing champion in the world?
You and I only see what Manny does on the ring. We don’t see what he does outside the ring. For example, I can do 10 sit-ups comfortably.
One day, to impress my wife, I tried doing 30 sit-ups. I only reached 25. After that, she had to carry me to bed.
Do you know how many sit-ups does Manny Pacquiao make in a day? 100? 200? 500? 1000?
Nope. He does 3000. Every single day. No wonder he’s a champ. No wonder his abs are like steel.
When he’s training before a fight, from Monday to Saturday, he starts at 5:30am and ends at 4:00pm. That’s more than ten hours of rigorous, grueling, hardcore, violent training.
Everyday!
In fact, Coach Freddie Roach says that Manny has one weakness: “Manny has a tendency to over-train, I have to stop him.” That’s dedication.
Why is Manny a champion in boxing?
Because he knows the secret of big returns: He gives his all.
The Guy Couldn’t Miss A Shot
Larry Bird was one of the best basketball players in the history of the game. He was known for his shooting magic.
But it was no magic. It was practice.
After every team practice, he’d be the last player to leave the gym.
While everyone else was taking a shower in the lockers, Larry would close the lights in the court and practice shooting in semi-darkness. Many times, he’d practice three-point shots while closing his eyes. He’d do that everyday.
One day, Larry Bird was making a commercial. The Director instructed him to miss a shot. That was what the scene required. Because his muscle memory was so strong, Larry had to take 10 shots before he missed it!
Why was Larry a champion in basketball?
Because he knew the secret of big returns: He gave his all.
Diabetes Couldn’t Stop The Dancing
Gary Valenciano is “Mr. Pure Energy”.
He’s the only entertainer that has won the Awit Award for Best Male Performer 11 times!
Yet this man has had Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes since he was 14 years old. So far, he’s had 90,000 insulin injections in his body.
Yet his sickness has not stopped him giving his all every single time he’s on stage.
Why is Gary a champion in entertainment? Because he knows the secret of big returns: He gives his all.

"This is crucial: the most difficult thing in the world is to be who you are not. Pretending and trying to be someone else is the official pastime of the human race. And the easiest thing in the world is to be yourself. Be happy. Live! There must be a reason why God made you tall or short or fat or thin or bumpy all over. Love who you are!"

Appreciate Your Loved Ones Without Trying To Fix Them
My title says it all.
My title is so powerful, so earth-shaking, I should be charging you a million pesos for divulging this secret to you.
Believe me, if you apply this principle into your life, you will change your entire life—radically.
You’ll have less stress.
You’ll have less fights.
You’ll have more peace.
You’ll be more joyful.
You’ll feel and look younger by ten years.
You’ll probably remove your wrinkles and turn your white hair black again!
Okay, maybe not.
But I’m exaggerating to drive home a point.
It was Dr. James Dobson who said that before you get married, you should have both eyes wide open. But after the marriage ceremony, close one eye.
What does he mean? Before you get married, you should be very careful in evaluating your future spouse. Check everything. Values. Background. Preferences. Reactions. Beliefs. Examine everything!
But when you get married, stop evaluating.
Stop critiquing.
It’s now time to simply accept the other person, give up the hope of fixing the other person.
Remove the robes of the courtroom judge.
Instead, put on the robes of a painter capturing the beauty of a scene. An artist simply accepts what is and nurtures a gratitude for what is there.
When you accept the other person and become grateful towards him, a great miracle happens: The person learns to accept himself too and thus bring healing of his Heart Wound. Changes begin to take place spontaneously.
Here are a few instructions to develop gratitude in your relationship:
Thank your loved one for the small things he does for you, especially all the typical things he always does for you. The next time your loved ones comes home from work, or takes out the trash, or fixes the car, or takes care of the baby, you know what to do.
Thank your loved one for her uniqueness.
Remind yourself that this uniqueness attracted you to this person as friend, spouse, business partner, etc.
Thank your loved one directly. Express it. Don’t hide your gratitude!
I promise: Gratitude will be like oil in the engine of your relationship.
Your relationship will function in a new level in a while.
It’s these simple “actionable” changes that you’ll learn in my inspiring new book, How To Build A Happy Family, and my powerful 7-session video and audio course, Relationships Reborn.
I believe that after 7 sessions of listening to God’s Word about relationships, you’ll see your relationships dramatically change.
Why Only Now
After 12 years of married life, I like describing family in this way: It’s like pushing a luggage cart overflowing with 3 suitcases and 4 balikbayan boxes, complete with a squeaky left wheel, up a steep ramp in the old Manila international airport. (Remember that one? I almost killed people there. I was moving down towards the parking lot. Soon, I no longer had control of my cargo. All my bags and boxes went tumbling down like rocks in a landslide. A poor nun in front of me almost went to Heaven, if she didn’t jump to the side.)
Friend, when it comes to your family, you need to keep pushing upwards. Everyday! You need to renew your family life.
Resting is not an option. The weight is too much. Soon, gravity will pull it going down.
The gravity of selfishness. Indifference. Or just the sheer gamut of distractions around you.
Let me show you a better way.
Get A Divine Porter
I’d like to teach you how to push upwards towards having a fantastic, wonderful, loving family.

It’s My Birthday This Sunday! And Here’s My Big Gift For You…
This Sunday, I’ll be 44 years old.
I’m not ashamed of my age.
But honestly, it feels funny saying it.
Because I feel like I’m in my twenties.
Okay, probably 30 years old, tops.
No kidding.
People ask me, “Bo, what keeps you going? You’re doing the work of ten men!”
It’s true.
I lead 9 non-profit organizations, run 12 successful businesses, speak 300 times a year, write 80 articles a month, and author 4 books a year. And I still have lots of time to play with my 2 boys, bring them to swim class, and date my lovely wife.
Do you want to know what keeps me going?
Don’t cringe.
Because my answer is really corny.
I love people.
YOU Keep Me Going!
I was in a mall recently.
Suddenly, a woman came up to me and said, “Brother Bo? Oh my!” she shrieked. After regaining composure, she went on, “Bo, you don’t know how much you’ve changed my life. Your books have saved me. Bo, can I hug you?”
“Sure!” I said and we embraced.
Talk about the crazy things I do: It was the first time I met her and we were hugging in front of everyone!
---0---
At another time, I was in a restaurant when a middle-aged man approached me and said, “Bo, it’s my birthday today. Can you pray for me?”
“Shure!” I said again, my mouth still chewing my veggies.
Picture this crazy sight. In this busy, noisy restaurant, right beside my table, this man knelt down beside me. I laid my hand on his head and prayed over him.
I don’t recall what I said, but I remember his face changing, like something heavy was being lifted off his shoulders.
He stood up with tears in his eyes. He said, “Bo, I’m having marriage problems now. But your prayer gave me hope. I know my wife and I will get over this. And I’ll have a beautiful family like yours.”
“Amen,” I said, salad still between my teeth.
---0---
The other day, a young woman came up to me in a hotel.
She said, “Bo, I’m a member of the TrulyRichClub. And I’m going to earn my first million very soon!” She told me how she’s already earned close to a million. “Thanks for the inspiration, Bo! And I’ll be writing a check soon for your ministry.”
Wow.
It’s happening.
I’m making millionaires!
Here’s My Birthday Blowout For You
How often do strangers approach me on the street?
Everyday of my life.
I’m not kidding.
These are the perks of my job.
I’m totally humbled.
It’s like I have ringside seats, watching how God is changing lives. Plus the thousands of grateful emails I receive.
As my way of saying “Thank You” to you, on the occasion of my Birthday, I’m giving you my big gift today. Here it is…
Presenting My Big Gift To You…
On a silver platter.
At no cost.
Nada.
Zero.
Zilcho.
What’s my big gift to you?
My powerful Ebook, My Maid Invests In The Stock Market… And Why You Should Too!
This Ebook has blessed my TrulyRichClub Gold Members so much, I want to share it with all of you. (I gave it to them four months ago. They just love it! Many of them are already investing in the Stock Market and creating their very own Retirement Fund.)
But I need to be fair to my TrulyRichClub members.
First, I’ll be giving you a March 2010 version of the Ebook. (Note: TrulyRichClub members get the updated version.)
Second, I’ll make my Ebook available for a few days only.
After which, I’ll close the link and it’ll be exclusively for TrulyRichClub members again.
Gain A New Wealth Attitude
After you read my Ebook, I’m inviting you to join the TrulyRichClub at www.TrulyRichClub.com
Why? Growing your wealth isn’t just about technical knowledge. You need a totally different abundance mindset. Believe me, an abundance mindset is crucial for building your wealth.
Without it, no amount of technical knowledge will make you wealthy. Proof: I know of some financial experts who are very poor.
And that’s what my TrulyRichClub can provide for you—a constant stream of powerful material (that you’ll receive daily, weekly, and monthly) that will help you create an Abundance Mindset.
Another reason? TrulyRichClub members get a mountain of other great stuff—like my monthly Stocks Update, where I tell them what stocks to buy, when to buy and when to sell.
Listen: If I was able to teach my house helpers to invest in the Stock Market to build their very own Retirement Fund, then I can teach anyone to do it too.
So go ahead.
Downloand and read my Ebook.
My compliments.
There’s a download button below.
After reading, join my TrulyRichClub.
And change your financial life forever.
While downloading, say a prayer for me.
And I’ll be praying for you too.
Happy Birthday to Me! (Hehe.)
May your dreams come true,
Bo Sanchez
PS. Click the link below. I told my internet team to make it available for a few days only, because this Ebook is really for TrulyRichClub members only. So get it while you can!

Are Negative Emotions Causing You To Get Sick?
One day, a man had flu.
So he won’t spread his germs, his wife dropped his plate and utensils in boiling water.
Their 5 year old daughter saw this and asked, “What are you doing Mommy?”
“I’m boiling the dishes to kill Daddy’s germs,” she said.
The girl remained quiet. After awhile, she said, “I have an idea. Why not just boil Daddy and kill all his germs?”
Germs.
We blame them for our sickness.
But that’s only partly true.
Our immune system is so terrific, it can fight almost all germs. But we get into trouble when our immune system gets weak. And one thing that causes it to weaken is our negative emotions.
The Shocking Truth
This blew my mind.
Studies show that 85% of all disease is rooted in our emotions.
Wow.
That means that among the 17 million people who died of heart disease last year, and among the 7.2 million people who died of cancer last year, 85% of those diseases were rooted in their emotions.
Man! If only someone taught them to work on their emotions (not just on their bodies), some of them might still be alive today.
Here’s what I believe.
Most of our diseases are messages.
What message? Diseases are telling us that . . .
(To continue reading Bo's inspiring article, click here.)
PS. Yeheey, it’s my birthday this July 11! I’m excited. On my birthday, I launch my latest book, How To Build A Happy Family. Join Me In A Pilgrimage To Israel
Hi Friend,
I know a lot of people travel often.
I know a lot of people who take lots of holidays and vacations in different parts of the world but they never consider taking a holy pilgrimage to Israel.
Friend, why not take a trip to the Holy Land and experience profound spiritual blessing?
I'm leading a holy pilgrimage to Israel on October 11, 2010.
And I'd love you to join me.
You can walk where Jesus walked.
Everyday, I'll lead you into daily prayer and I'll explain to you what happened in each sacred place.
We'll go to Calvary where Jesus was crucified, Bethlehem, where Jesus was born, and Galilee, where Jesus preached--and so many other incredible places.
The first time I was in Israel was when I was 16 years old.
Since then, I've gone back over and over again.
It's always a joy to see the actual places that you read in the Bible. It's like the Bible coming alive--in technicolor--before you.
I'll be bringing with me a friend priest.
He'll celebrate Mass with us everyday.
We'll also have lots of fun, I can assure you.
Even now, I'm praying for all those who'll go with me (I call them pilgrims). May God give my pilgrims a deeper spiritual connection!
May the Lord inspire my pilgrims to new directions in their life.
May my pilgrims discover their mission and embrace it more fully, through this pilgrimage.
I see a pilgrimage as a long holy retreat.
Except that instead of staying in one place, we're constantly moving. We're moving towards God.
The details of the pilgrimage are below.
If you want to join me and be my pilgrim, email Beckie at her email below.
May your dreams come true,
Bo Sanchez
PS. Muslims go to Mecca at least once in their lifetime. I think Christians should take a pilgrimage once in their lifetime too. I'm personally inviting you to join me to Israel on October 11, 2010. For details read below.

Be An Eternal Student
I read something fascinating yesterday.
Ralph Bruksos tells the story an 80-year old man who was reading a very difficult book.
A friend beside him looked at the title of the book and was astounded. He said, “At your age, you’re still reading books like that? Why? To learn?”
The 80-year old man said, “I don’t read to learn. I read to become.”
Wow.
And that’s exactly why I keep reading (almost one book a day), listening to audio talks, and having a platoon of mentors.
I want to keep on becoming.
It’s not just learning bits of knowledge.
It’s taking that knowledge and applying it into my daily life—so that I grow into a more loving human being.
I’m an eternal student.
I hope you’re one too.
Here are three opportunities for you to grow:
1. How To Earn Through Real Estate
Free Online Seminar by Trace Trajano on June 26, 7:30pm
A lot of people think that to get into Real Estate, you must have a lot of money. And that it’ll take a looooong time to earn anything through Real Estate. But Real Estate Guru Trace Trajano doesn’t agree. He’s taught his students how to earn through Real Estate without much capital and in a very quick way. (He’s strategy is called “Quick-Turn”.) By the way, the last time Trace did this, 246 people were not able to get IN his online seminar. Click HERE NOW to reserve your seat.

Am I A Filthy Rich Evangelist?
I’ve got a tiny problem.
I’m a successful entrepreneur.
But because I’m also a missionary and spiritual leader, some people think I’m using the tithes of my members to enrich myself.
Ouch.
Hey, I can’t blame them for asking this question.
Rich Evangelists have been in the news lately.
One very famous Evangelist drives a Rolls Royce and has his own huge private jet. Other Televangelists have their own helicopters, yachts, and mansions.
Where does their wealth come from?
From the tithes of their members?
People are aghast.
So am I one of them?
5 Things About Me
For the sake of those who are sincerely asking this question, I’d like to share my answers. (For those who simply want to criticize, no answers will satisfy them.)
1. I don’t own a plane, a mansion, or a Rolls.
I live in a simple house and use a simple car.
My wife and I like it this way.
Despite the fact that I can now afford a bigger house and a better car, I’d rather use my financial blessings for God’s work.
Again, I’m not against a big house or a better car. One day, my car will be old enough to retire and I’ll upgrade it.
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying God’s blessings.
But I’m certain you’ll never see me driving a Rolls!
2. I don’t get a salary from Light of Jesus.
Again, let me emphasize: There’s nothing wrong with getting a salary from one’s “church”. Receiving a salary from one’s “church” is in the Bible. (Note: We’re not a church. We’re a lay organization within the Catholic Church.) In fact, all our fulltime leaders in Light of Jesus do get allowances and salaries—as they should—for all the fantastic work they do.
But as Founder and over-all Leader of Light of Jesus, I’ve long decided not to receive a salary from the tithes of our members. I felt my position was very sensitive and unique—and thus, my decision.
I thank God that my private businesses have been more than enough to support me and my family—and more than enough to give to God’s ministry.
3. All author's royalties from my books
are donated back into my ministry.
So far, I’ve written 18 bestselling books.
My royalties are quite sizable—and I’m happy to donate it back to our ministries.
This has given me the opportunity to fund various projects for the ministry. It’s one of my great joys in life to do this.
4. All my speaker’s fees
are also donated back into my ministry.
I’m one of the highest paid corporate speakers in the country today. (You’ll cringe if I tell you how much companies pay me to speak to their employees.)
Because of my heavy ministry involvement however, I have very little time to speak to companies. But whenever I do accept invitations, I donate my fees to the ministry.
5. To support myself,
I earn from my personal businesses.
I have 12 income streams. I earn via real estate, stock market, a tiny school, financial consultancy, internet marketing, and a few other businesses. I’ve invested in a corporate souvenir company that supplies 100+ companies. I’ve invested in a restaurant too. I’m part owner of prenatal ultrasound clinics. Etcetera.
And from my earnings, I still donate a big portion into our ministry each year with great joy.
My businesses and investments have been blessed.
God is prospering me.
And this is my prayer for you too!
I want you to be financially blessed too.
I have a burden for spiritual people to prosper. To prosper, not only for yourself, but so that you can share your wealth to others.
There’s nothing wrong with money.
If you have a good heart, money will be good.
If you have a bad heart, money will be bad.
Starting tomorrow, my mentors and I will be giving my Financial Coaching Program. We’ll be sharing to the lucky participants the exciting ways of growing their income, such as investing in the Stock Market, Mutual Funds, Real Estate, and Business. (I’m not sure if there are some seats left, but if you want to catch up, click here for details.)
Next week, my internet marketing guru Jomar Hilario will be giving his 2-day internet marketing workshop. Almost all my businesses use internet marketing. Because of internet marketing, my businesses have grown by leaps and bounds. To know more about that workshop, click here.
May your dreams come true,
Bo Sanchez
