I know a lot of people travel often.

I know a lot of people who take lots of holidays and vacations in different parts of the world but they never consider taking a holy pilgrimage to Israel.

Everyday, I'll lead you into daily prayer and I'll explain to you what happened in each sacred place.

We'll go to Calvary where Jesus was crucified, Bethlehem, where Jesus was born, and Galilee, where Jesus preached--and so many other incredible places.

The first time I was in Israel was when I was 16 years old.
Since then, I've gone back over and over again.

It's always a joy to see the actual places that you read in the Bible. It's like the Bible coming alive--in technicolor--before you.

I'll be bringing with me a friend priest.
He'll celebrate Mass with us everyday.
We'll also have lots of fun, I can assure you.

Even now, I'm praying for all those who'll go with me (I call them pilgrims). May God give my pilgrims a deeper spiritual connection!

Be An Eternal Student

I read something fascinating yesterday.
Ralph Bruksos tells the story an 80-year old man who was reading a very difficult book.
A friend beside him looked at the title of the book and was astounded. He said, “At your age, you’re still reading books like that? Why? To learn?”
The 80-year old man said, “I don’t read to learn. I read to become.”
Wow.
And that’s exactly why I keep reading (almost one book a day), listening to audio talks, and having a platoon of mentors.
I want to keep on becoming.
It’s not just learning bits of knowledge.

Am I A Filthy Rich Evangelist?

I’ve got a tiny problem.
I’m a successful entrepreneur.
But because I’m also a missionary and spiritual leader, some people think I’m using the tithes of my members to enrich myself.
Ouch.
Hey, I can’t blame them for asking this question.
Rich Evangelists have been in the news lately.
One very famous Evangelist drives a Rolls Royce and has his own huge private jet. Other Televangelists have their own helicopters, yachts, and mansions.
Where does their wealth come from?
From the tithes of their members?
People are aghast.
So am I one of them?

5 Things About Me

For the sake of those who are sincerely asking this question, I’d like to share my answers. (For those who simply want to criticize, no answers will satisfy them.)

1. I don’t own a plane, a mansion, or a Rolls.

I live in a simple house and use a simple car.
My wife and I like it this way.
Despite the fact that I can now afford a bigger house and a better car, I’d rather use my financial blessings for God’s work.
Again, I’m not against a big house or a better car. One day, my car will be old enough to retire and I’ll upgrade it.
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying God’s blessings.
But I’m certain you’ll never see me driving a Rolls!

2. I don’t get a salary from Light of Jesus.

Again, let me emphasize: There’s nothing wrong with getting a salary from one’s “church”. Receiving a salary from one’s “church” is in the Bible. (Note: We’re not a church. We’re a lay organization within the Catholic Church.) In fact, all our fulltime leaders in Light of Jesus do get allowances and salaries—as they should—for all the fantastic work they do.
But as Founder and over-all Leader of Light of Jesus, I’ve long decided not to receive a salary from the tithes of our members. I felt my position was very sensitive and unique—and thus, my decision.
I thank God that my private businesses have been more than enough to support me and my family—and more than enough to give to God’s ministry.

3. All author's royalties from my books
are donated back into my ministry.

So far, I’ve written 18 bestselling books.
My royalties are quite sizable—and I’m happy to donate it back to our ministries.
This has given me the opportunity to fund various projects for the ministry. It’s one of my great joys in life to do this.

4. All my speaker’s fees
are also donated back into my ministry.

I’m one of the highest paid corporate speakers in the country today. (You’ll cringe if I tell you how much companies pay me to speak to their employees.)
Because of my heavy ministry involvement however, I have very little time to speak to companies. But whenever I do accept invitations, I donate my fees to the ministry.

5. To support myself,
I earn from my personal businesses.

I have 12 income streams. I earn via real estate, stock market, a tiny school, financial consultancy, internet marketing, and a few other businesses. I’ve invested in a corporate souvenir company that supplies 100+ companies. I’ve invested in a restaurant too. I’m part owner of prenatal ultrasound clinics. Etcetera.
And from my earnings, I still donate a big portion into our ministry each year with great joy.
My businesses and investments have been blessed.
God is prospering me.
And this is my prayer for you too!
I want you to be financially blessed too.
I have a burden for spiritual people to prosper. To prosper, not only for yourself, but so that you can share your wealth to others.
There’s nothing wrong with money.
If you have a good heart, money will be good.
If you have a bad heart, money will be bad.

How To Enlarge Your Territories

When you were a baby, were you cute and cuddly?
I know I was. (If you disagree, then you’ll be disagreeing with my mother. Believe me, disagreeing with my mother is very dangerous to your health.)
All babies are cute and cuddly.
Have you noticed? People go gaga over babies.
You know if there’s a baby in the room.
Because everyone, even the adults, become babies too.
In front of an infant, educated and cultured people say “Kookookookookoo, wawawawawa, mememememe, nanananana, yuyuyuyuyu…”
Females especially.
They’ll hold those toothless bundles of fat and go “Awwwww, he’s so cute!” 62 times before they pass the baby to another female. And the “awwwww’s” continue forever.
But face it.
No matter how cute those babies are, they’re pure, unadulterated, complete 100% narcissists. It’s true! These tiny creatures are totally selfish, self-centered, and self-absorbed.
In their little worlds, others don’t matter.
Only “what I want” matters.
Everything is about “me”.
A baby’s life revolves around five things and five things only. “I want to eat. I want to burp. I want to sleep. I want to pee. I want to poo.” If a baby doesn’t get any of these five things, he declares World War III.
And if he wants any of these five things, he doesn’t care what you’re doing. You don’t exist. You’re there to serve his five needs. The baby doesn’t care if you’re sleeping, or you’re resting, or you’re sick, or you’re depressed, or you’re on the phone talking to the President, or you’re in the brink of solving the problems of the world. Babies don’t care.
Through his endless crying, the cute baby says, “I don’t care about you. I don’t care about your world. I don’t care about what you feel. I don’t care about what you think. I don’t care about your existence. You exist to meet my needs. You serve me. And you serve me now!”
But thankfully, babies grow up.
At least, some of them do. (Hehe.)
Soon, babies learn to talk, to walk, and to grow up. And one of the things they outgrow is their narcissism.
Human beings soon realize that others exist. That others matter. That happiness depends on living for something bigger than themselves.
But sadly, some babies don’t outgrow their narcissism.
They grew physically. But deep inside, they’re still babies. Selfish, self-centered, and self-absorbed.
They’re really “babies disguised as adults”.
That is why, there are people who wake up one day in their old age with a deep, nagging, haunting emptiness within them.
Where does this emptiness come from?

One evening, a man was walking in a dark jungle.
Suddenly, he saw what seemed like a tiger running towards him. Horrified, the man ran away as fast as he could.

He was able to stop and turn around. In the darkness, he saw the tiger moving towards him.
Instantly, he made a decision. He said to himself, “I’d rather die by falling than by a hungry tiger!”
So he closed his eyes and jumped off the cliff.
But instead of falling a thousand meters, he landed just a few meters down on a hanging vine! It was actually a root of an old tree that was jutting out of the cliff.
He was saved!
But suddenly, from out of nowhere, he saw a big rat crawl out of a little hole. It ran to the base of the vine he was holding—and it began to eat through it! At anytime, the vine will snap.
He was a dead man for sure.
From the corner of his eye, he saw something red.
